From the south and west, the easiest approach to the Church is via Star Lane and Foundation Street. From the east, access is via St. Helen's Street and Upper Orwell Street. From the north, travel eastbound along Woodbridge Road, south into Orchard Street (the small white street under the "A1156" designation on the map), then via St. Helen's Street and Upper Orwell Street. Don't blame us, blame the one-way system! Our postcode is IP4 1AU.
The very limited car parking space at the Church is designated for elderly people and those with limited mobility. Please contact us if you require a space. Public car parking is available in the Cox Lane pay-and-display and Foundation Street multi-storey car parks. Currently the Foundation Street car park offers a "£1 all day" rate on Sundays from 10 am, while the Cox Lane car park is more expensive. At present some street parking (Sundays and evenings) is available on Foundation Street, Lower Brook Street and Upper Orwell Street. Ipswich Buses services 1,3, 4 & 6 and First Bus services 61 & 62 stop in Tacket Street, close to the Church. (Ipswich Buses service 4 runs on Sundays only, while First Bus service 62 does not run on Sundays). |
